Just very good. We pre-ordered the goose again, prepared it perfectly, picked it up, just put it in the oven. Perfect. So you can also support excellent gastronomy.

We wanted to have a really good meal again. Before the lockdown on November 2nd, 2020. Fortunately we were able to reserve a table in the Esser restaurant (only at 8 p.m.). And it was worth it again! The service was friendly, quick and not too intrusive. And our dishes were excellent again! Borussia plate: very tender and juicy roast beef and veal steak, pork fillet skewer would have been grilled even more carefully. Sauce, fried potatoes and salad are absolutely great. Cream schnitzel and salad with roast beef steak were also very, very tasty. We have eaten in this restaurant a number of times and were very impressed each time. I am very happy to recommend!

I was accommodated for two days at a seminar at the Hotel Esser. The rooms are bright, clean, quiet and functional. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially the food should be emphasized here. Excellent, freshly cooked food! In our group, a lady had small change requests that were promptly met by the kitchen. Many thanks to the team who made the stay so pleasant.

We went to the restaurant again yesterday. Without exception, we really like it here. Food is tasty, fresh and nicely presented. The service gives you the feeling that you are being treated individually and the service is not overwhelmed with special requests. They do it kindly and with pleasure. We will definitely be back. Small 3 star hotel with a beautiful beer garden, restaurant and seminar rooms. The rooms are ok so far, the bathroom could also be built into a mobile home, all plastic. The food is average, but there are no leisure activities in the hotel or in the village.

Excellent food with a changing menu, seasonal dishes and special offers. The service is extremely good. You are served quickly and politely, everyone smiles and is always up for a joke. The garden is very nice, the interior is not up to date, but it is still cozy and in excellent condition.

Very good restaurant from AZ, everything is just right. Had a wonderful Evening from the service to the food with 14 people everything was great. Thanks to the team. Will definitely be back.

A very nice hotel! The food was great. The staff was more than friendly and it was a very nice evening. All Corona measures are implemented in an exemplary manner and it is still fun to spend your evening there. Gladly again!

We celebrated my husband's 80th birthday in the common room of the restaurant. The table was festively set and everything was perfect from the champagne reception to dessert or nightcap. The food was delicious, everything freshly prepared and nicely presented to the eye. The waiter who served us all evening and his colleague were very attentive, competent and friendly. Our guests and we enjoyed the evening. Thanks to the whole team!

So: I found the food to be tasty and rich. The service was friendly and quick (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) The standard of accommodation is unfortunately not more value than the stars on the door (⭐⭐⭐). The seminar rooms I was allowed to use were less optimally Low ceiling oppressive which was reinforced by pillars in the room (⭐⭐). The self-service pub in the training area is a nice idea. She would be worth more stars if she was clean and in good shape (⭐⭐). 12/4 = 3 ⭐⭐⭐with a lot of air upwards
